BUTLER is an innovative retractable fairlead with hydraulic control, operated remotely or via push-button panel.

The key feature of this fairlead is the ability to temporarily hold the mooring line — hands-free, foot-free, and effort-free — so you can safely transfer it to the bollard with total peace of mind. It provides real support during mooring manoeuvres. It is protected by an international patent. A true game-changer during mooring operations, BUTLER is especially useful on larger sailing or motor yachts, where heavy-duty lines and high loads require extra help from winches or windlasses. Once moored, the hydraulic piston locks the line securely in place, making it quick and safe to shift it from winch to bollard without any strain. After the line is secured, BUTLER releases its grip and resumes its role as a traditional fairlead. When not in use, the system fully retracts, keeping the deck clean and obstacle-free—ready for smooth sailing.

The BUTLER fairlead is entirely made of CNC-machined AISI316 stainless steel. All components are electropolished before assembly, and visible parts are mirror-polished for a flawless finish. Each fairlead is supplied as a complete kit, ready for onboard installation.
